I have some exciting news to share!
Kalapriya in the South Loop and I are collaborating to offer beginner and intermediate group tabla lessons in their studios: “The Basics of Tabla.”
The group lessons will be offered on Sundays from 3pm for an hour, beginning on Sunday, September 22nd.
The rate will be $30 per session.
I am asking any students interested in continuing, re-starting, or starting lessons to come at this time. I will not be able to offer private lessons in the short term.
The benefits of group lessons include learning from observing others, gaining the skills of playing together in unison, seeing other levels of tabla players in action, and building community.
